Dianthus superbus 'Crimsonia'
Dianthus superbus 'Crimsonia'
The Romans considered Pinks divine and cultivated them for their clove-scent and essential oils. Today, we still plant them for their divine fragrance.
‘Crimsonia’ is a rare variety with fringed cherry-red flowers.
Pinks do not necessarily need to be planted in the rock garden, but they do require well-drained soil in order to make it through winter. Deer resistant; adored by pollinators.
