Tellima grandiflora
Tellima grandiflora
Fringe Cups are western North American natives that make a lovely ground cover in part shade. Rounded, maple like leaves remain evergreen in warmer zones. Delicate wands of cup shaped flowers with fringed petals grace the plant from mid-spring to mid-summer. Fringe Cups make excellent companion plants to ferns in a shaded woodland setting. Be aware that they can become aggressive when grown in ideal conditions.
