We are obsessed with this beauty from the mountains of Argentina and Chile. Pale yellow-eyed grass forms clumps of iris-like foliage that are topped by spikes of pale yellow flowers in June and July. It is very easy to grow and blends beautifully with so many other perennials. Prefers full sun and is happy in just about any soil as long as it is well-drained. Versatile: grow it in the rock garden, cottage garden, formal border, or open woodland. Best grown en masse. Self-seeds reliably.
