Wild senna is a North American native that can be found growing in moist, open woodlands and disturbed areas from Main south to Georgia and northwest to Tennessee and Wisconsin. The yellow, pea-like flowers attract bees and butterflies, and the winter seedpods are a favorite with wild turkeys.
