Black-eyed susans are coarse plants with oversized, usually yellow and brown, daisy flowers. Most are native to prairies in the US. They are an essential food source for pollinators and overwintering birds.
Deam's coneflower is very similar to 'Goldstrum' but grows just a little taller.
