Potentilla megalantha

A ridiculously tough little plant, Potentilla megalantha is hardy down to zone 2! Mounds of soft, silvery foliage are smothered in yellow flowers in early summer. Foliage turns brilliant yellow in autumn. Grow it in a spot with sun, poor soil, and good drainage.
