Helianthus maximiliani

This is a TALL plant that makes a bold statement in the landscape. Hairy stems with greyish-green leaves can grow up to ten feet tall before they are topped by brilliant yellow flowers in late summer. This pollen-rich prairie plant provides immense value to bees, birds, and butterflies. Drought tolerant and deer resistant.
