Cerastium tomentosum var. columnae 'Silberteppich'

Snow in Summer is a super hardy little evergreen perennial that is ideal for the rock garden or any other well-drained spot. The highly attractive grey-green foliage is covered in a blizzard of white blooms for weeks on end. Once the flowers fade, the foliage forms a lovely mat that looks great cascading over walls.

The straight species can be a bit aggressive. 'Silberteppich' is much better behaved.
