Though sometimes considered old-fashioned, Campanula are a favorite genus of ours. We love the seemingly endless varieties of shapes, sizes, and colors. All are easy to grow in full sun, most are lime-lovers, none are too fussy about soil.
Korean Bellflower is an excellent, yet rarely seen ground cover. Reddish stems hold tubular, lilac-pink flowers over deep green foliage. It spreads vigorously and should only be planted where it will not choke out other plants.
