Rue-anemone is a spring ephemeral that is native to deciduous woodlands throughout much of North America. It appears for only a few weeks each year, but is so worth growing for its pinkish-white flowers, which are held above the lacy, dark-green foliage. Its delicate appearance belies its hardy nature.
Easy to grow in well-drained soil in part to full shade. Moisture needed in spring to prolong the bloom time.
