Hollyhocks are a classic English cottage garden plant. They add architectural height to borders and bloom for months on end. Most are grown as biennials or short-lived perennials due to their susceptibility to rust or fungal diseases. We love them anyway and would not be without them. Grow in fertile, moist-but-well-drained soil in full sun for best results. Will self-sow.

'Sunshine' is a sturdy perennial with single bright yellow flowers.

WARNING: Sap or juice may cause skin irritation.
