Anise Hyssop pleases all the senses. Soft, ever so slightly fuzzed leaves give off a licorice scent. Purple flowers are alive with pollinators all summer, and the dried foliage looks and smells wonderful if left to stand in the garden all winter. This short-lived perennial will vigorously reseed around the garden; blooms first year from seed; also makes a delicious tea and ice cream.
