Helenium are a bit old-fashioned, but excellent nonetheless. These eastern US Natives light up the late summer garden with their profusion of large blooms and exuberant colors.
'Helena Red Shades' are vigorous, stable hybrids with deep brownish-red stems and large flowers in varying shades of red. They are easy to grow in almost any soil, short of a bog.
