Foxgloves are the quintessential English cottage garden plant. Most are biennials or short-lived perennials that self-sow like crazy and grow happily in any reasonably fertile soil in sun or shade. Deer and rabbit resistant.

Straw foxglove is a true perennial with long, thin stalks of pale, creamy yellow flowers. Narrow, smooth green leaves form an attractive rosette. Though it is a true perennial, it is sadly short-lived. Divide or let it self-sow to increase supply in the garden.
