Golden Marguerite is a popular clump-forming perennial that is widely grown in the UK and in Europe, but is relatively uncommon in the US. Adorable yellow daisy-like flowers dance above feathery fragrant foliage from July to October. Pollinators - especially honey-bees - love it. It has a long history as a culinary herb, was used medicinally as an antiseptic, and is a main ingredient in the production of absinthe. Easy to grow in a sunny spot in dry, well-drained, lean soil.
Tip: cut back low after flowering to encourage low growth to survive the winter.
