Pearly Everlasting gets its name from its numerous, lustrous white papery flowers which are useful in dried arrangements. We love it for its mass of felted, narrow silver-green leaves with wooly undersides. Most silver plants prefer full sun and dry soils, but this Himalayan native actually prefers humus-rich, consistently moist soil and will tolerate light shade.
