White Moth Mullein is a short-lived perennial or biennial that produces lovely dainty white flowers with pink or purple centers. The flowers are held on long stalks above a semi-evergreen rosette of foliage. Best planted in poor, alkaline, well-drained soil in full sun. If planted in rich soil it will likely need staking.
The tall spikes that hold the delicate flowers aloft are covered in small green bead-like seed capsules once flowering has finished. See second photo.
